Meet Lance and Sarah

This journey would not be possible without the generosity and support of Lance and Sarah. I found these amazing souls through emailing an outfitter in BC, who put me in contact with them, and it has been dream-realising stuff since then! They have provided a beautiful caring home for my two new horses in Nova Scotia, and will be caring for them until I get there in March. But not only that, having such contacts on the ground in a place I have never been has made this preparatory stage of things possible, and hopefully sets us up well for the Spring. There will certainly be a few bumps along the way (and we’ve already experienced a few, as buying two horses in a country on the other side of the world is not a seamless thing!), but knowing my boys have these legends looking after their well-fare helps me sleep easy at night. Even though we have never met in person, I feel like I have family waiting to welcome me to Nova Scotia. I am so grateful to the chances that brought us into contact!

Lance and Sarah are both highly skilled and competitive horseback archers, and run a club in Nova Scotia. If you are interested, check out their website! Seawinds Horse Archers
